MS Walk

The MS Walk happen last weekend and was a great success. It was a warm, sunny day in Southern California which drew out many participants. There were many groups out there including most of the Flojos staff. Many groups had t-shirts made for the occasion and it was good to see support for this great cause. There were friends, family, co-workers, kids and dogs on this walk. It was a good time to be out. With a course of 5 km or 10 km, it was doable for most everyone. We opted for the shorter 5 km since our little girl was with us.

It was a great time out for the family and for the support of a good cause. To find out more information or to donate to the Multiple Sclerosis, go to http://www.nationalmssociety.org/index.aspx

Outdoor Retailer show

In January, we attended the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City. It is a fun show for the outdoor lifestyle enthusiast. Lots of products for most any outdoor pursuit and lots of dogs around.

While we were there, we were written up by J at Lyra Mag. You can read her review of the new line at Lyra Mag

New Ideas from Blingity Bling

There are people out there that are full of creativity and artistry. One such company is Blingity Bling. They take our product (along with others) and add their own creative style to it. Jewels, ornaments, embroidery and more. You can see their products at Blingity Bling.

They have been recently written up at the V-Style blog. Check it out here: V-style.

Multiple Sclerosis Walk

The MS Walk is happening on Saturday, April 18! We are going to have Team Flojos out to support this great charity and hope to raise funds to help the ongoing research. We are going to the walk in Thousand Oaks, CA. If you are in the area, please join us or find a walk near you. Look for us in the "Team Flojos" shirts.

MS is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system, leading to demyelination. Disease onset usually occurs in young adults, and it is more common in females. It has a prevalence that ranges between 2 and 150 per 100,000. It affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other. (reference: wikipedia)
